Familia and Friends! Welcome to The Romriguez Girls wedding site! :-) We have chosen to celebrate our ceremony in an intimate setting with both our families and chosen families. If you're seeing this site, we would like to say THANK YOU in advance. To any and all who plan to be in attendance for our afternoon and evening of celebration, you have all impacted the love and the life we have been able to create with each other. Whether you have extended invitations to family functions, shared kind words of love and support or just reached out to us in trying times, we thank you.

Welcome

Katie's Version:Steph and I met online and became friends in March 2022. But after our first meet up, it was clear that there were sparks between us. We bonded while talking over our beverages (Mexican mocha for her, latte for me) and talked about everything from music, to life, to family to growing up experiences. Our date ended after a little record store shopping and walking around Tower District. Three hours later we were still talking. Steph drove me home, met my (now our) dogs and we were off on our journey. We want our wedding to be a combination of everything that's been true for us as a couple: something that honors our histories and our futures, the families and friends who shaped us into who we are, and the love we have for each other, and all of you who will be celebrating with us. Steph's Version:We met on Bumble. So the dating app worked, lol. It all started with a message about travel. I would message her on Mondays and Fridays for a few weeks. Ya know, just checking in on her and making small talk. Fast forward to 2 months later...a few days after a 3 hour texting conversation and slight IG stalking, she asked for a coffee date. (I was clueless, Thought we were just meeting in person for coffee...literally). Can first dates last 4 hours when there's no food or movie involved? Yes. For us it was coffee and plenty of effortless conversation. (Side note: picture you see above...coffee shop where we first met :-)) Yes, we made our way to the record store. As we were sifting through records, "Alone" by Heart started playing through the speakers. I stopped mid sift and said "Oh, I love this song." She placed her hand on my arm and exclaimed, "Me too! I love heart!" What can I say, I hold that memory very dear to me. After that, we were seeing each other every weekend. After endless song dedications and using, "I like you. Like, really really LIKE you." I finally caved. I knew she was the one. (She proposed though, 2 years later.) All I'm tryna say isThere's a difference between "Miss you" and "I miss your face"There's a difference in "What's going on?" and "Baby how was your day?"Yeah, there's a hell of a difference in saying three words or kinda just meaning twoThere's a difference in "Love ya" and "I Love You"And I wanna be the difference...---Tyler Rich 3 years later, here we are. Through all the love and laughs we've been able to experience with each other, have also come trials, tears and fears of the unknown. But through it all, we are reminded that as long as we have each other...we'll be okay. I am so lucky to have met the person who gets me. Who has embraced all my quirks and my Halloween and horror movie obsessions, lol. We all need someone to go through life with and I am beyond blessed to have finally found mine. Venue Location and DetailsWe have provided a Google map link below to assist in viewing the venue location and directions. Swan Lake18463 E. What time should I arrive?The venue will be open to our guests at 3:30 p.m. What's the wedding itinerary?Ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. followed by cocktail hour, dinner and reception. We anticipate to wrap up the fun between 10:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Indoor or Outdoor?Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all be celebrated outdoors. The setting is in a beautiful, tranquil valley with huge oak trees, a lake running through the area, deck and an actual swan on the property! Our ceremony will take place on the grass area of the venue, therefore stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended. But please feel free to bring an extra pair of shoes if need be! Dress Code?Casual/Cocktail Attire is requested. Look your best! But also comfortable to your liking. Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?Any color you like is wonderful! If you're looking for a color direction, we'll have fall colored floral accents for the occasion, so if you'd like to be in keeping with this, maybe something in the fall family. What is the weather and climate like in the area?A little unpredictable for the Central Valley, lol.May we suggest layers? We will be providing a few favors to hopefully help keep you warm, if need be. Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?Because we are wanting to celebrate with our families both immediate and chosen, we will not be allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding. Names of our guests invited to attend have been listed on your invitation, therefore no additional guests will be accommodated. Am I allowed to bring my children?Although we would love to have any and all kiddos around, we hope you can understand this will be an "adults occasion". There will be some children present who are involved with the wedding party. What type of food will be served at your wedding?Chips and Salsa will be available at arrival and for the cocktail hour. Dinner will be an open Taco Bar with all the fixings, with a Vegetarian option as well. Will there be an open bar?Yes! There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy from arrival until it's time to wrap it up, so please enjoy responsibly. We will also have Aguas Frescas, Non-Alcoholic and Mocktail beverages. Can I post wedding photos on social media?At this time, we are respectfully asking for privacy in this matter. We will be providing an app that you can use to upload any and all photos to a personal digital photo album. But please, no social media sharing. We appreciate your understanding with this matter.

We have listed options in Clovis, Selma, Kingsburg and Dinuba. Each location is just about 30 minutes or less from the venue. If you feel a VRBO/Airbnb would be a more suitable option for you, please feel free to check out rentals located in Sanger or Reedley as they will be closest to the venue.
